We are a young couple that spends our time traveling the world learning about various cultures and people, ideas and beliefs, terrains and wildlife. We bring our experiences and adventures back to Europe to share with high school students and communities across the continent. We present our travels, to one class or an entire school, in a slideshow of our own photos showing students and community members the unique view of the world we gain through our travels.  We talk about how we lived and everything we encountered; exploring all the rewarding elements of travel, both positive and challenging.  Following the show we answer questions with a focus on a constructive discussion, which supports different ideas while exploring and emphasizing the positive effects of varying opinions.  We also have an array of items collected durning our travels that everyone is encouraged to interact with at the end of the slideshow, bringing a tangible outside world right to their fingertips. Our presentations are not simply fact-based; our goal is to encourage every member in the audience to follow us on our journey as we speak and inspire them to see the world as we have. Along side our enthusiasm for learning and teaching about different ways of life, Crossing Borders is a huge advocate for animal welfare and animal rights around the world. In our presentations we talk to our students about the importance of helping animals, weather it be by adopting from your local shelter or volunteering for a welfare project in their community. Yukon, our rescue dog, shows the students that even helping one animal can make a difference. For themselves and even for animals around the world.
